Crush Volleyball will be hosting tryouts for the upcoming 2017 season.

The cost is $25 for tryouts if paid and registered prior to the event and $30 if paid at the door. We encourage prior registration for staffing of tryouts and to expedite the process. Here is a helpful link to know what age group your daughter should tryout for Age Definitions

All players trying out must have a current USAV Membership. If you played with Crush Volleyball last season, your membership is valid until October 31, 2016. If you played for another USAV club, your membership is valid as well and we will need you to bring a copy of your USAV membership card to show proof of membership. If you are new to club volleyball or have not played in a few seasons, you will need to register at the following link: USAV Registration and bring a copy of your e-mail confirmation with you in case it cannot be located at tryouts. All players will need to fill out a NEW 2017 Medical Release form even if you played last season for a USAV club.

The tryout dates are as follows:

October 22nd 13U 9AM-11AM

October 22nd 11U-12U 11:30AM-1:30PM

October 23rd 8U-10U 1PM-3PM

October 23rd 14U 3PM-5PM

November 6th 15U-18U 1PM-3PM

November 13th 15U-18U 1PM-3PM (if needed)

A few things to make tryouts go smoothly for your athlete:

-Come Prepared!

-Bring a water bottle with a lid that seals

-Wear knee pads

-Volleyball shoes should be worn but gym shoes will do

-Parents can stay but we ask that you encourage your daughters to focus on the coaches.

-THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT: Please do not drop your player off at the curb and allow them to walk in by themselves. We are not the only people in the building and your daughter's safety is of the utmost importance to us. Please bring them to the mezzanine and watch them walk to the court.

-Be on time! On time is late, early is on time! Players should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of tryouts and a half hour early if you are not able to pay or register before attending.

Players will be assessed on their Attitude, Athleticism and Ability! We look for players who bring Talent, Teamwork and Technique to tryouts with them! Evaluations are used to place players where they will be most competitive as a player. Each player is given the same opportunity to make a team and we offer players the ability to train without travel if a they are not chosen at the competitive level. We take pride in teaching athletes the importance of commitment and repetition. We build strong-minded athletes and provide model environments for them to grow both on and off the court.
